England - Sussex - Winchelsea Beach

Beautiful Unspoilt Winchelsea Beach near Rye & Hastings

Hi, we are a couple in our 50's/60's who love their beautiful caravan where we stay a lot, only travelling back to our home in Essex every few weeks to check on family. We have had our caravan at this small Park Holidays Resort for 9 seasons now and our van is 10 years old. It has been made very homely and we love the large wooden decking at the end of the van which over looks the dyke, fields and views beyond. We have a premimum plot at the back of the site, which offers more privacy. We also have a pvc decking at the side which leads into both the patio doors and the front door. We have a kingsize bed with ensuite toilet and basin in the master bedroom. There is a separate toilet and shower and a twin bedroom. There is also a pull out double bed in the settee. We have a table & 4 chairs with tv, dvd, freeview and beautiful views from both our patio windows and the windows in the living room. We are South facing and have the sun all year round, with amazing sunsets. The fields opposite alternately have bullocks or sheep and often we have the lambs born in this field, we are regularly visited by ducks, swans, pigeons, rabbits and all forms of wildlife. Although I have said yes to both children and pets, we would prefer only to accept small clean well behaved animals, we have hamsters ourselves and do take them with us, but they are obviously kept in enclosures. So small pets we don't mind as long as they are cleaned up after. We do use the spare twin room as storage most of the time so we would prefer couples similar to ourselves, so that we can leave our things in that bedroom. But we can be flexible on this. Our park has an outdoor pool, clubhouse & reception. Winchelsea Beach has a pebble beach within walking distance, we are 2 miles from the ancient cobbled streets of Rye and 8 miles from the larger town and old towns of Hastings. There are so many places to visit in and around the area. There are lots of little pubs offering food & good pump ales in the small villages around us. We are looking to swap for any time limit up to 2 weeks and from as little as a weekend if not to far from either E Sussex or Essex, most areas considered although we would prefer not to be in E Sussex or Essex!
